Ponant is an expedition operator with 40 years of experience in the polar regions. Thanks to its icebreaker, Le Commandant Charcot, it is the only operator to currently offer North Pole cruises.
Ponant means blending luxury and authentic expedition. With the launch of the world’s first luxury icebreaker, Le Commandant Charcot, in 2021, Ponant created new itineraries that only this ship, able to break through thick sea ice, could do.
